Overview
Byron Inc. (Headquarters: Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan) has declared Two Stars under the "SECURITY ACTION" programme promoted by the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA).
What is SECURITY ACTION?
SECURITY ACTION is a self-declaration programme for small and medium-sized enterprises to demonstrate their commitment to information security measures. It is based on the "Information Security Guidelines for SMEs" published by IPA.
Two Star Commitments
The Two Star declaration confirms the completion of the following two initiatives:
1. Completion of the "5-Minute Information Security Self-Assessment"
We answered 25 diagnostic items to assess our current information security posture.
2. Establishment and Publication of Information Security Basic Policy
We have established our information security policy and published it on our website.
Journey from One Star
Byron Inc. declared One Star in March 2026, committing to the "Five Information Security Principles". Following the completion of the self-assessment and the establishment and publication of our basic policy, we have achieved the Two Star declaration.
